Jorge received a Mechatronic engineering degree from Universidad de Boyacá and a MSc in Mechatronic Engineering from EU4M consortium (Universidad de Oviedo and SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM). He worked as automatization engineer in Colombia and was member of research group SIMEK in the Universidad de Boyacá in medical field. After obtaining his MSc he worked as R&D engineer and software engineer. Currently, he is R&D engineer of SpineGuard and PhD student supervised by PhD. Brahim Tamadazte and Prof. Quentin Grimal to work on advanced robotics and signal processing approaches to improve the pedicle screw placement.
