Tegoeh Tjahjowidodo is now an associate professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, KU Leuven, Belgium, since 2019. He received his Ph.D. in mechatronics from the same university in 2006 and soon after that, he joined Flanders’ Mechatronics Technology Centre as a senior researcher until 2009. From 2009 – 2019 he was appointed as an associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in the field of mechatronics in manufacturing and medical applications. From 2017 to 2019 he also has served as a collaboration director at Advanced Remanufacturing Technology Centre, a research center to bridge academia and industries in Singapore. His research interests include nonlinear dynamics, modeling, identification and control with emphasize on, but not limited to, monitoring areas. During his academic career, he has supervised 17 PhD researchers, 11 research engineers and 3 post-docs. He also has published numerous of papers and has h-index of 27 in Scopus (33 in Google Scholar).
