Ayoob Davoodi received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2014 and M.Sc. degree in Control Engineering from the University of Tehran (UT) in 2017. He then became a research assistant in the Cognitive Systems Laboratory at the University of Tehran in 2018. He carried out as an Researcher in Locomotion Laboratory at Technical University of Darmstadt for 6 months in 2021. He started his Ph.D. on Functionally Accurate Robotic Surgery for pedicle screw placement in the same year and continues this research within the Robotics, Automation, and Mechatronics (RAM) Group of KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Emmanuel Vander Poorten.
