KUL researchers obtain a travel grant for UZH collaboration

Congratulations Ayoob and Kaat on both receiving a travel grant from the Professor R. Snoeys Foundation!

The team constituting of Ayoob Davoodi, Kaat Van Assche and Ruixuan Li are contributing to the FAROS project and collaborating with UZH (Univerisity of Zurich) to develop robotic technology to assist spine surgery. These two grants from the Snoeys Foundation will allow Ayoob and Kaat to go to Zurich, Switzerland for a month to continue this research and closely collaborate with the partners and clinicians at UZH and Balgrist university hospital to continue their experiments in a clinical setting.

We wish them the best of luck with their experiments and want to thank the Professor R. Snoeys Foundation for giving them the trust and financial means to do so!
