8th FAROS Integration Week in Zurich

The OR-X in Balgrist recently hosted the final validation week for the robotic prototype developed by the international research consortium of the Horizon 2020 project FAROS (Functionally Accurate RObotic Surgery). The FAROS project, an EU-funded initiative, aims to improve functional accuracy through embedding physical intelligence in surgical robotics.

The 8th integration week, held from April 22 to April 30, marked a significant milestone in the project’s progress, as researchers from the different partner institutions came together to technically integrate, test, and validate the FAROS robotic system.
